Well, not anymore, at least without a few hurdles and cracks.
Why FIFA(FC) Now Requires An Account
In the software world, anything (code) that gets to the end user’s device is prone to hacking and cracking.
Why?
Because the logic to restrict unlicensed users is embedded within the game code.
Someone with time can inspect the code and build a way around.
To mitigate game tempering most developers are now linking games with online accounts.
This means that in order to play a game the game first queries the server to see if you have a license or authority to play.
This gives more control on who has access and what they can access.
Is It Full Proof?
To a certain extend.
Accounts make it hard to bypass, but people still find ways of cracking games.
Some share accounts (better)
Some Cracked games come with problems though. Some have codes that can mess up your device.
